BREAKING NEWS: Global Sumud Nusantara Confirms Two Republika Journalists Kidnapped by Zionists

The Global Sumud Nusantara Command Centre in Malaysia has reported that two Republika journalists, Bambang Noroyono and Thoudy Badai, have been confirmed kidnapped by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This information was displayed on the monitoring boards at their headquarters.

The vessels they were aboard, the Boralize and Ozgurluk, had lost contact for an extended period, leaving their fate unknown. At 21:00 WIB, it was finally confirmed that both ships had been intercepted.

Bambang Noroyono was the sole Indonesian citizen aboard the Boralize. On the Ozgurluk, alongside Thoudy Badadi, were Andre Prasetyo Nugroho (Tempo) and Rahendro Herubowo, who contributed to iNewsTV, Berita1, and CNN.

Israeli forces also intercepted and hijacked the vessel Josef. Among the volunteers kidnapped by the Israeli military was Andi Angga Prasadewa, a volunteer from Rumah Zakat.

On Monday morning, the Global Sumud fleet arrived in Cypriot waters, approximately 300 nautical miles from Gaza. Shortly thereafter, the Global Sumud Flotilla committee reported that interception protocols had been activated following suspicious vessel movements around the fleet.

Israeli forces (IDF) reportedly began intercepting the Global Sumud fleet at approximately 11:00 Turkish time. The interception took place in Cypriot waters, about 200 nautical miles from Gaza. Following these developments, urgent diplomatic communications and legal measures are currently being pursued.

During the incident, Republika journalist Bambang Noroyono sent a video showing Israeli warships visible from his ship, the Boralize. He subsequently sent an SOS video in accordance with protocol ahead of the potential interception and arrest, before contact was lost. Thoudy Badai also lost contact at almost the same time, as did all Indonesian citizens accompanying the Global Sumud Fleet.
