BREAKING NEWS! Cabinet Reshuffle, Prabowo Inaugurates 6 Officials

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated six new officials in the latest cabinet reshuffle on Monday (27/4/2026). The inauguration took place at the State Palace, within the Presidential Palace Complex of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta, and was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The ministers who were inaugurated lined up to take their oaths. They are Jumhur Hidayat, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Dudung Abdurachman, Hasan Nasbi, Abdul Kadir Karding, and Muhammad Qodari. “Are you willing to take the oath according to the Islamic faith?” asked Prabowo. “We are willing,” they replied. They also swore to uphold the ethics of their positions and to work to the best of their abilities with full responsibility. Jumhur Hidayat was inaugurated as Minister of Environment and Head of the Environmental Control Agency. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq was inaugurated as Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs. Dudung Abdurachman was inaugurated as Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP). Hasan Nasbi was inaugurated as Special Advisor to the President for Communications. Abdul Kadir Karding was appointed as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency. Muhammad Qodari was inaugurated as Head of the Indonesian Government’s Communications Agency (Bakom).
