Brawl Near Klender Station Causes Traffic Congestion

Based on video obtained from East Jakarta Police, the brawl caused traffic congestion, with long queues of vehicles on the road this morning. Traffic is now reported to have cleared, with police stating the situation is under control.

“Traffic on Jalan I Gusti Ngurahrai, Kebon Singkong, Klender, East Jakarta is flowing smoothly. The brawl occurred at 5:30 AM WIB,” said Head of Traffic Police for East Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Harnas Prihandito, when contacted on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Brawl Dispersed

The brawl was dispersed by the Presisi Patrol Team of East Jakarta Metro Police along with Brimob Mobile Brigade personnel. “The brawl has been dispersed by the Presisi Patrol Team of East Jakarta Metro Police along with Brimob Mobile Brigade personnel,” said Police Commissioner Alfian Nurrizal in his statement on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Police confirmed the situation is now stable after dispersal and seized items suspected to have been used in the altercation.
