Amid the private TV shows packed by pornography, superstition
and gossipy infotainment, state-owned TVRI has come up with
programs that fit this holy month of Ramadhan.

Most TV stations have become hypocritical, presenting Ramadhan
themes through actors who had previously played erotic parts,
besides entertainment that speak ill of other people.

Every day during Ramadhan, TVRI is airing music videos of
Islamic songs, news, business info and debates in English, and
after the tarawih evening prayer, viewers can enjoy religious
talks in a joint broadcast with MQTV.

Let us hope TVRI will keep up with these programs and continue
to present edu-tainment to enhance the morality of the religious
community. Bravo, TVRI!
