Brantas Abipraya Opens Access to HR Competency Certification
PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) has organised a Human Resources Management (HRM) Work Competency Certification for 100 participants through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme. The programme is open to company employees, students, and Brantas Abipraya partners.
Purnomo, the Director of Business Development, Human Capital & Legal at Brantas Abipraya, stated that the certification is provided free of charge to 100 participants who have successfully passed the selection process.
“This activity provides free access to certification for 100 participants through the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme,” Purnomo said in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday (10/09/2026).
The programme received 300 applicants before being narrowed down to 100 participants. According to Purnomo, the selection process was conducted to choose participants who are ready to undergo the certification stages and possess a commitment to developing their competencies.
“This activity is not merely about obtaining a certificate, but serves as part of Brantas Abipraya’s investment in building competent Human Capital that is ready to meet industry challenges,” said Purnomo.
Purnomo noted that developments in the construction industry have made the need for HR management competence increasingly vital. Technological changes, digitalisation, labour regulations, and corporate governance demands are all influencing the need for expertise in this field.
“In the midst of very rapid change, experience alone is not enough. We must ensure that experience is supported by measurable competence, continuously updated knowledge, and the ability to adapt to change,” Purnomo continued.
The certification material covers several HR management competencies, including manpower planning, job analysis, SOP development, remuneration, wage administration, social security, industrial relations, as well as human resource learning and development.
Purnomo stated that HR management is no longer just related to administrative functions, but also encompasses resource readiness, competence, organisation, and systems to support company needs.
“When a company wants to grow, we must ensure that the talent we possess is ready to grow and transform. When a company faces new challenges, we must have individuals with the competence to address those challenges,” he added.
Through this programme, Brantas Abipraya is also encouraging competency development through professional certification. The company hopes that participants can use the knowledge gained to enhance their abilities and adapt to industry requirements.
