Brantas Abipraya Distributes 210 Sacrificial Animals to Communities Near Project Sites
PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) has distributed 210 sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. These animals were distributed to communities in various regions across Indonesia, particularly those residing near the company’s active project sites.
Brantas Abipraya’s Corporate Secretary, Dian Sovana, stated that the distribution of sacrificial animals is part of the company’s routine Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme conducted every Eid al-Adha.
“The distribution of these sacrificial animals is a tangible manifestation of Brantas Abipraya’s social concern in supporting community welfare and strengthening the value of ‘gotong royong’ (mutual cooperation), which is an integral part of our national culture,” Dian said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Dian, the distribution is expected to help communities gain access to nutritious food while strengthening togetherness in the environments surrounding the company’s projects. Brantas Abipraya noted that the programme aligns with the company’s commitment to delivering social benefits beyond infrastructure development. In addition to executing construction projects, the company conducts various social activities targeting communities within its operational areas.
“Through the distribution of 210 sacrificial animals, Brantas Abipraya hopes this assistance will not only help meet the food needs of the community but also strengthen the sense of brotherhood and the spirit of mutual cooperation within society,” Dian added.
As a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) in the construction sector, Dian stated that Brantas Abipraya will continue to implement social programmes alongside its development activities in various regions. The company believes that development should not only be measured by the infrastructure produced but also by the benefits felt by the community. The distribution of sacrificial animals serves as one of the social programmes implemented by the company to support the improvement of community welfare and strengthen relationships with residents near its operational sites.
