Jakarta (ANTARA) - State-owned construction company PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) is accelerating the completion of a People’s School in Sipak Village, Jasinga District, Bogor Regency, West Java, as part of efforts to achieve education equity. “Through the construction of the Bogor Regency People’s School, we continue to deliver quality, safe educational facilities completed on time so they can be immediately utilised by the community,” said Brantas Abipraya Corporate Secretary Dian Sovana in an official statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday. Supporting the government’s target, Brantas Abipraya is pushing to finalise the construction of the Bogor Regency People’s School. The state-owned construction firm is ensuring the project remains on schedule while prioritising construction quality, occupational safety, and timeliness. As one of the implementing contractors, Dian noted that Brantas Abipraya has managed to keep construction progress on target despite facing quite complex geographical conditions. As of 28 June 2026, physical progress had reached 81.42 per cent and the project is now entering the final finishing stage. “We appreciate the synergy of all parties involved so that this project can proceed according to target despite the challenging terrain conditions,” Dian said. The construction of the Bogor Regency People’s School presented unique challenges as the project site was previously a forested area with contoured land and quite extreme slopes. Additionally, high rainfall intensity and limited access to the location posed challenges for material mobilisation and construction execution. The project involves approximately 960 workers and is supported by 25 personnel from the Indonesian Army’s Territorial Development unit. This collaboration represents a synergy to accelerate the completion of a national strategic project expected to improve education quality while driving economic growth in the Jasinga area and its surroundings. “Going forward, Brantas Abipraya will continue to deliver quality infrastructure works that meet standards, are completed on time, and provide added value for the community as part of our support for a more advanced and competitive Indonesia,” Dian concluded.
