Branch Expansion Integral to Cooperative Business Ecosystem Development
Koperasi Kana has inaugurated a new branch office in Menara Syariah, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, Tangerang, Banten. The branch launch is part of efforts to strengthen business networks and boost export capabilities developed in collaboration with members. The inauguration ceremony was attended by cooperative officials, members, business partners, and industry stakeholders on Monday, 25 May 2026. Koperasi Kana Chairman Jonathan Danang Wardhana stated that PIK2 was chosen for its growth as a new business district with expanding economic activity. ‘This area hosts numerous businesses, and the new branch aims to facilitate coordination, enhance communication, and accelerate the development of our export business network with members,’ said Jonathan. He added that the branch’s presence is not merely a symbol of expansion but integral to strengthening credibility and developing the cooperative’s business ecosystem. Koperasi Kana is currently developing several export business lines, including white sugar, tobacco, and bird’s nest trade. ‘These sectors are being developed through collaboration with members and business partners across various regions,’ he said. He noted that member trust is crucial for the cooperative’s growth, hence Koperasi Kana is committed to concrete, long-term business development. ‘We aim to grow alongside our members, fostering collaborative spaces and business opportunities that can thrive,’ he added. Through the PIK2 branch, Jonathan continued, Koperasi Kana will offer business advisory services, member consultations, business network strengthening, and export business development coordination. ‘Koperasi Kana will also continue expanding its service reach and strengthening the business ecosystem, particularly in trade and export sectors,’ Jonathan concluded. Business partners have also supported the move. Cahandra Saritua, CEO of PT Nexcore Innovative Solutions, said the new branch demonstrates Koperasi Kana’s seriousness in building a professional business ecosystem. ‘It’s not just growth we see, but a commitment to establishing long-term business systems and networks. This is vital for building trust and expanding business connections,’ he added. Alongside the inauguration ceremony, the grand opening included a networking session for members and business partners to strengthen synergy and explore new collaborative opportunities.
