BPS Partner Recruitment for 2026 Opens: Check the Requirements and Registration Method
JAKARTA - Recruitment of BPS partners to support the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census officially opens from 8 May 2026.
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is providing opportunities for the general public to join as additional census officers or BPS Statistical Partners in various regions across Indonesia.
Registration for statistical partner recruitment is conducted online through the Sobat BPS application or the official BPS website at https://mitra.bps.go.id/. All selection stages are also carried out online and do not incur any fees.
The BPS partner programme is intended to assist with data collection in the 2026 Economic Census, from field data gathering to coordinating census activities in respective areas.
In the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census, officers will be directly involved in the data collection process for businesses and community economic activities.
BPS emphasises that this recruitment is open to the general public and is not intended for Civil Servants (ASN). Participants are prioritised to be domiciled in the selected data collection area to facilitate easier field coordination.

Registration is done through the Sobat BPS application. Participants must create an account, upload their ID card, verify their NIK, and complete their biodata before selecting the 2026 Economic Census programme.
BPS urges participants to ensure all uploaded data and documents are accurate to ensure smooth administrative selection processes. Participants are also asked to regularly monitor the Sobat BPS application for updates on selection stages and official announcements.
BPS clarifies that registration for 2026 statistical partner recruitment is only for initial data collection of potential partners.
BPS also assures that the entire registration process incurs no fees. The committee’s decision is final, and each registrant is only allowed to select one work area in the BPS partner recruitment process.
