BPS: Indonesia experiences 3.08 per cent annual inflation in May 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded that the Indonesian economy experienced an annual inflation rate of 3.08 per cent (year-on-year/yoy) in May 2026. Pudji Ismartini, the Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information at BPS, stated during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose from 111.09 in April 2026 to 111.40 in May 2026. Furthermore, the year-to-date (ytd) inflation was recorded at 1.35 per cent, while the month-to-month (mtm) inflation stood at 0.28 per cent.
