BPP KAPMI Opens Export Opportunities for MSMEs to Kazakhstan

The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (BPP KAPMI) conducted a working visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jakarta on Wednesday (16/9). This visit serves as a concrete step for KAPMI to establish economic diplomacy channels for young entrepreneurs across borders.

The bilateral meeting, themed ‘Global Young Business Dialogue: Indonesia and Kazakhstan’, was led directly by the General Chairman of BEMA KAPMI, Muliansyah Abdurrahman. He was received by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Indonesia, H.E. Mr Serzhan Abdykarimov, alongside Economic and Media Deputy Mr Nurlan and the Political Deputy.

Muliansyah Abdurrahman emphasised that Kazakhstan is a highly potential strategic partner for young Indonesian entrepreneurs. “Kazakhstan is the gateway to Central Asia, possessing significant energy, mineral, and logistics resources. Indonesia possesses strengths in MSMEs, the creative economy, and technology. We must bridge this collaboration,” stated Abdurrahman.

According to the Chairman of BPP KAPMI, who also serves as the CEO of Batu Group, this dialogue is not merely ceremonial but focuses on concrete opportunities such as trade exchange, green energy investment, halal logistics, and opening markets for Indonesian MSME products within the Eurasia region. KAPMI aims to ensure that young entrepreneurs are not merely spectators of globalisation but active participants.

The Kazakh Ambassador, H.E. Mr Serzhan Abdykarimov, welcomed the BPP KAPMI initiative. He noted that Indonesia is an important partner for Kazakhstan within ASEAN and views the role of young entrepreneurs as the driving force for the economic relationship between the two nations in the future. His office is fully prepared to facilitate business matching and joint business forums.

As a follow-up, BPP KAPMI and the Kazakh Embassy have agreed to develop plans for the Indonesia-Kazakhstan Young Entrepreneurs Business Forum, scheduled for late 2026. This forum is expected to serve as the primary platform to bring young entrepreneurs from both countries together directly.

This step aligns with BPP KAPMI’s vision to serve as an economic vanguard both regionally and globally. By opening international networks, the contribution of the youth towards achieving the national economic growth target of 6% will become more tangible and measurable.
