BPP KAPMI appoints three new patrons to foster young entrepreneurs
The Central Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Chamber (BPP KAPMI) has inaugurated three national figures as organisational patrons in a bid to produce empowered young entrepreneurs.
BPP KAPMI Chairman Muliansyah Abdurrahman said the presence of the patrons is expected to provide ideological and academic strengthening, business networks, and policy advocacy for cadres across Indonesia.
“We need patrons who not only provide direction, but also come down to oversee KAPMI’s real work for young Indonesian entrepreneurs,” Muliansyah said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.
The three figures inaugurated are TB Robby Budiansyah, Tody Ardiansyah Prabu, and Prof Anna Mariana.
The inauguration is part of BPP KAPMI’s institutional consolidation to strengthen the organisation’s direction at the national level.
Robby is known as a young entrepreneur active in youth organisations and human resource development.
Tody is a lawyer and entrepreneur in the property sector.
Meanwhile, Anna is a professor with a long track record in law, public policy, community empowerment, and business.
KAPMI affirmed its commitment to continue being a home for the struggle of young Indonesian entrepreneurs working in the fields of economy, business, education, and nationalism.
With the support of the patrons, KAPMI is targeting stronger synergy between the youth movement and the business world, professionals, academics, and public policy makers.
Going forward, BPP KAPMI’s priority programmes include strengthening the capacity of entrepreneur cadres, business and national literacy, empowering MSMEs, and overseeing strategic economic issues in Indonesia.
“With the new structure and the support of the patrons, we are optimistic that KAPMI can produce business cadres who are advanced, knowledgeable, virtuous, and empowered for Indonesia,” Muliansyah said.
In addition to the inauguration of the organisational patrons, KAPMI officially occupied a new secretariat office on Jalan Proklamasi, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
The inauguration of the new office is an important milestone for BPP KAPMI. Going forward, the office will function as a centre for coordination, cadre development, business incubation, as well as advocacy and economic empowerment movements for the nation.
