Police to question Al Ghozi's father: East Java police will
summon Zainuri, father of Fathur Rahman Al-Ghozi, an Indonesian
national who is now being detained by the Philippines'
authorities on charges of links to the al-Qaeda terrorists'
networks. Zainuri, a member of the Madiun Regional Legislature
(DPRD), is expected to come to the East Java Police office for
questioning on March 11. East Java Police spokesman Adj. Sr.
Comr. Sad Harunantyo said Friday that Zainuri had earlier failed
to comply with the first summons on February 25. If he still
refused to appear at the police office by March 11, Zainuri would
be taken away by force, Harunantyo said. -- Antara

Ambon immigration deports Algerian, Saudi Arabian: The
immigration office in Ambon, Maluku, has deported two foreigners,
Syahmi Farid Abu Huzaifa, an Algerian, and Husein A.A. Al
Zahrani, a Saudi Arabian, who have been on the island since early
February. "They traveled to the island by a national passenger
ship, KM Bukit Siguntang, on February 8. Upon their arrival, the
two foreigners, who brought their passport with socio-cultural
visa issued in Kuala Lumpur, were examined by security and
immigration officials," said Kapiten Bangun, chief of the local
immigration office, here on Friday. -- Antara

Belarus could be sanctioned for arms sales: The United States
said on Thursday it could impose sanctions against Belarus should
the former Soviet republic continue to sell weapons to so-called
"rogue states" or terrorist organizations. Steven Pifer, the
deputy assistant secretary of state for Europe and Eurasian
affairs said that one report claimed that Belarus had trained the
Iraqi military to operate S-300 air defense systems last fall.

Cuba expels intruders from Mexican Embassy: Cuban special forces
entered the Mexican Embassy on Friday at Mexico's request and
whisked off to an unknown destination 21 young men who had
stormed the compound earlier this week in a hijacked bus. The
men's fate was unknown but they were assumed to be in detention
after the 10-minute operation, during which muffled shouts could
be heard behind police lines. The pre-dawn move ended a two-day
