Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has developed a digital mapping platform, accessible at bhumi.atrbpn.go.id, to provide land information through maps showing the location and shape of plots, as well as land values in specific areas.

“Through Bhumi ATR/BPN, the public can explore locations and view geospatial information more easily,” said Hendy Pranabowo, director of cadastral measurement and mapping at Bhumi ATR/BPN, in Jakarta on Friday.

He said one type of information available through Bhumi ATR/BPN is a land-parcel map, which shows the position and shape of plots that have been mapped.

The platform also provides Land Value Zone (ZNT) information, offering an indication of land values in particular locations based on the data displayed.

Bhumi ATR/BPN also provides three-dimensional data for strata-title residential buildings, visualising units in flats and apartments in a number of towers in cities across Indonesia. It also contains other land and spatial-planning geospatial information.

The information available through Bhumi ATR/BPN can be used not only by the general public, but also by government bodies and professionals who need geospatial data to support their work and regional planning. The availability of this information also promotes public access to information on land matters.

However, the public should understand the purpose and limitations of the information displayed on Bhumi ATR/BPN. The digital map is a tool for exploring geospatial information, but it does not replace a land certificate or constitute an official determination of the legal status of a plot.

“Information on Bhumi should be understood in line with its function and intended use. If people need certainty about the data or legal status of a plot, they should check with the relevant Land Office in accordance with the applicable procedures,” he added.
