BPKN Calls on Producers to Withdraw Aged Water Gallon Containers

The National Consumer Protection Agency (BPKN) has called on bottled drinking water (AMDK) producers to voluntarily withdraw aged gallon containers from circulation.

Findings from the Indonesian Consumers’ Coalition (KKI) indicate that a significant number of gallon containers currently in use have exceeded their recommended service life.

Consumers have been advised to refuse cloudy or opaque gallon containers and to inspect production codes before use.
