BPKH Secures Eighth Consecutive Unqualified Opinion, Hajj Funds Reach Rp180.74 Trillion
The Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) has once again secured an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for its 2025 consolidated financial report, marking the eighth consecutive year the agency has achieved this status since commencing operations in 2017. This achievement underscores BPKH’s consistency in implementing transparent, accountable, and sharia-compliant financial governance. The BPK granted the opinion after confirming that the financial report met all material aspects in accordance with accounting standards, supported by an adequate internal control system, compliance with laws and regulations, and sufficient audit evidence.
Head of the BPKH Executing Body, Fadlul Imansyah, stated that the WTP opinion is not merely an administrative milestone but proof of the institution’s commitment to upholding the trust of millions of Indonesian Hajj candidates. ‘Achieving a consistent WTP opinion is not just an administrative accomplishment; it is evidence that BPKH continues to build professional, transparent, and accountable governance. Public trust is the main asset we safeguard through the safe, productive, and sharia-compliant management of Hajj funds,’ Fadlul said at the BPKH office in Jakarta on Monday.
In addition to maintaining the highest audit opinion, BPKH recorded financial performance growth throughout 2025. The balance of managed funds increased to Rp180.74 trillion, reflecting a 5.30 percent growth compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the value of investment returns reached Rp12.05 trillion, an increase of 4.42 percent from 2024. Fadlul noted that these results were achieved amidst global financial market dynamics while prioritising the principle of prudence in investment management. He stressed that these achievements serve as motivation for BPKH to continue strengthening governance, risk management, and transparency in managing Hajj funds for the benefit of all Indonesian pilgrims, both now and in the future.
