BPKH Records Assets of Rp238.99 Trillion, Benefit Value Maintained
The Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) has recorded total assets of Rp238.99 trillion as of the end of 2025, an increase from Rp221.05 trillion in the previous year.
BPKH Board Chairman Fadlul Imansyah stated that the asset growth reflects the continued professional, transparent, and sustainable management of hajj funds for pilgrims. “The growth in consolidated BPKH assets in 2025 demonstrates that hajj fund management remains healthy and sustainable. We are committed to safeguarding the pilgrims’ trust through prudent and transparent management, whilst ensuring that hajj funds provide optimal value for Indonesian hajj pilgrims,” said Fadlul Imansyah on 12 March.
The increase in assets was supported by a strengthened investment portfolio and placement of pilgrim funds in various safe and productive Sharia-compliant instruments. As of the end of 2025, investment assets and pilgrim fund placements totalled Rp169.31 trillion, up from Rp160.54 trillion in 2024.
Additionally, BPKH recorded net benefit income from the Hajj Implementation Fund (PIH) of Rp11.48 trillion throughout 2025, up from Rp11.24 trillion in the previous year. This benefit value serves as an important revenue source to support the sustainability of financing the hajj pilgrimage for Indonesian pilgrims.
Amri Yusuf, BPKH Board Member for Finance and Accounting, added that BPKH continues to strengthen its investment strategy and financial governance to maintain the sustainability of hajj fund benefits. “BPKH continues to strengthen governance and investment strategy to ensure hajj funds are managed safely, productively, and in accordance with Sharia principles. Optimisation of fund management is crucial to ensure sustainable benefits for pilgrims and support better implementation of the hajj pilgrimage,” said Amri Yusuf.
Beyond investment management, BPKH also continues to promote the utilisation of the Eternal Ummah Fund (DAU) through various welfare programmes that benefit the broader public.
Moving forward, BPKH reaffirms its commitment to continue strengthening governance, improving investment performance, and ensuring that hajj fund management is conducted transparently and accountably to deliver optimal value for Indonesian hajj pilgrims.
