Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) reports that the trend in the percentage of resolution of Follow-up Actions on Audit Recommendations (TLRHP) has increased during the period from 2022 to 2025.

In a statement from BPK received in Jakarta on Wednesday, it is noted that the percentage of TLRHP resolution rose from around 73.9% in 2022 to 86.46% in 2025. On the other hand, the number of recommendations not followed up experienced a drastic decline from 7.7% to just 0.19%.

“This achievement demonstrates the strong commitment of ministries and agencies in following up on BPK recommendations and strengthening the accountability of state financial management,” said Member III of BPK, Akhsanul Khaq, during the Seminar on Financial and Performance Reporting of Ministries and Agencies.

That Member III of BPK emphasised that every minister or agency head, as budget users, has the obligation to prepare and present financial reports and performance reports as a form of accountability for the implementation of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget/Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN/APBD).

He also stressed that strengthening accountability is a strategic foundation in realising good governance, in line with the direction of national development in the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045 towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

According to him, reliable, consistent, and integrated reporting is key to producing quality decision-making.

In addition, strong accountability ensures that every budget allocation can not only be accounted for but also produces measurable performance and impact.

“Through the audit of financial reports and performance reports, BPK ensures that state financial management is not only efficient but also provides real benefits to the public,” said Akhsanul Khaq.

On that occasion, he also expressed appreciation for the significant increase in the achievement of follow-up on audit recommendations for entities under the scope of the Directorate General of State Financial Audit III (Ditjen PKN III).

“BPK extends its highest appreciation and recognition to 16 entities under the scope of Ditjen PKN III audits that have completed TLRHP progress above 90%. This award is given as recognition of the commitment and consistency of the entities in following up on BPK audit recommendations,” he stated.
