BPK RI Member Fathan Subchi Dies

News of a death has come from Indonesia’s Supreme Audit Board (BPK RI): Fathan Subchi, a member of its sixth board, has died.

The National Awakening Party (PKB) announced the death on its official Instagram account on Sunday (25 October 2026). Fathan had served two terms in the House of Representatives as a member of the PKB faction before joining BPK RI.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. The entire PKB family extends its condolences on the passing of Fathan Subchi, a member of BPK RI and a former member of the PKB faction in the House of Representatives for the 2014–2024 period, as well as Chairman of the PB IKA-PMII for the 2025–2030 period,” PKB wrote.

PKB prayed that the deceased would be granted the best place by Allah and that his bereaved family would be given fortitude.

“May the deceased have a good end, may all his sins be forgiven and his acts of worship accepted, and may the family he leaves behind be granted patience and strength. Amen, Lord of the worlds,” PKB wrote.
