BPK Member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi Undergoes 8-Hour Interrogation by KPK
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) interrogated Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi as a witness in the alleged bribery case involving the inactive Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. Bobby underwent questioning for eight hours.
“We attended the summons of the investigators this Monday, and all requested information has been provided to the best of my knowledge,” Bobby told journalists at the KPK Merah Putih Building, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/9/2026).
Bobby was reticent when faced with questions from reporters, requesting that such matters be directed to the KPK investigators.
“Regarding the substance of the investigation, that is not within our capacity, so please ask the KPK investigators directly. I thank you,” he explained.
Bobby had been under interrogation since 09:57 WIB this morning and began leaving the examination room at 18:26 WIB. Bobby had previously been questioned by the KPK in July 2026. He was summoned again by the KPK last week but was absent.
Investigators are scrutinising the audit of the Muara Enim Regency Government to achieve an Unqualified Opinion (WTP). KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that investigators questioned Bobby regarding the BPK’s mechanism in altering the audit results of the Muara Enim Regency Government.
“The examination of the individual (Bobby) certainly relates to the process and mechanism of determining opinions within the BPK. The construction of this case involves allegations of the manipulation of audit findings conducted by the BPK audit team in the Muara Enim Regency Government,” Budi Prasetyo said at the KPK building, South Jakarta, Monday (28/9).
Budi stated that Bobby was questioned on how an audit result with a Qualified Opinion (WDP) was allegedly transformed into an Unqualified Opinion (WTP). The KPK also interrogated Bobby’s connection to a private party who has been named a suspect.
“This ultimately led to the alleged change of opinion from WDP to WTP for the Muara Enim Regency Government. How the process occurred at the regional office and how it occurred at the central office,” he noted.
“Including the connection with a private party, Mr AG, who was also apprehended during the sting operation and has been named a suspect in this case,” he added.
For information, Edison was arrested by the KPK in a sting operation (OTT) on Monday (8/6). The KPK subsequently named Edison a suspect on Tuesday (9/6).
In addition to Edison, the KPK has named three others as suspects. The identities of the suspects are as follows:

Secretary of the Department of Education and Culture 2026, Abi Nurwardani
The Regent’s nephew, Adi Triyadi
Marketing representative of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, Cory Erin Hardi.
