BPK Member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi Questioned for Nine Hours in Muara Enim Bribery Case
Member V of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, was questioned as a witness in a suspected bribery case implicating the inactive Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. Bobby stated that everything had been conveyed to the KPK investigators.
Based on monitoring at the location on Thursday (16/7/2026), Bobby Rizaldi exited the KPK’s Merah Putih building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, at 19:13 WIB. Bobby immediately left the KPK building without making many comments. “Everything has been conveyed to the investigators, and we fully support this process,” Bobby Rizaldi said briefly.
According to KPK records, Bobby arrived at the KPK’s Merah Putih building at 09:58 WIB. Thus, Bobby was questioned for approximately 9 hours and 15 minutes.
Previously, the KPK had searched the home of BPK Member V, Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi. Investigators seized a number of pieces of evidence from the search. “It is true, today investigators conducted a search at the residence of Mr BB, located in the Jakarta area. During this search, investigators secured several electronic evidence items,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement on Tuesday (14/7).
Budi stated that the seized electronic evidence would be extracted for further information gathering. He said the search was conducted in relation to the suspected bribery case involving the inactive Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. “In principle, this search activity is to complete additional evidence required in the investigation process of the case related to alleged bribery in the BPK audit at the Muara Enim Regency Government,” he said.
It is known that Edison was arrested by the KPK in a sting operation (OTT) on Monday (8/6). The KPK subsequently named Edison a suspect on Tuesday (9/6). Besides Edison, the KPK named three other individuals as suspects following the OTT. The identities of the suspects are: 1. Muara Enim Regent, Edison; 2. Secretary of the Education and Culture Office for 2026, Abi Nurwardani; 3. The Regent’s nephew, Adi Triyadi; 4. Marketing representative of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi, Cory Erin Hardi.
The KPK suspects Edison received a bribe of Rp 500 million from Cory. The bribe was allegedly received through Abi Nurwardani. The bribe is suspected to be money to maintain ‘good relations’ because PT MSA, as the smart board supplier, had secured a procurement project from the Muara Enim Regency Government in 2025. Additionally, Abi received cash deposits from other office partners in Muara Enim. The KPK seized approximately Rp 1.9 billion in this case.
On Wednesday (10/6), the KPK conducted an OTT against five BPK civil servants. The KPK stated this OTT was still related to the suspected bribery in the Muara Enim Regency Government. The KPK suspects the Muara Enim Regent gave bribes to BPK officials regarding findings in the smart board procurement. The KPK then named five suspects in the bribery case from Edison to the BPK officials. The KPK revealed that the BPK officials requested Rp 1.6 billion to alter the audit results.
