BPK Civil Servant Titin Detained by KPK in Bribery Case: 'My Superiors Are Tiered'

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has placed two suspects in an alleged bribery case related to Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) findings on several procurement projects within the Muara Enim Regency Government under initial detention for 20 days. The two suspects are BPK civil servant (ASN) Titin and a private individual named Augus Dwianggara, also known as Angga. The latter is believed to be a trusted associate of a BPK Member V with the initials BAR. This case was uncovered by the KPK through a sting operation (OTT) some time ago.

Based on CNNIndonesia.com’s observation at the KPK’s Red and White Building in South Jakarta, Titin and Angga were escorted to a detention vehicle at around 10:11 WIB. They had undergone intensive questioning since Wednesday (10/6). Only Titin commented as she was being led to the State Detention Centre (Rutan), while Angga remained completely silent.

‘I did not receive the money. This is unfair. I am just a subordinate,’ Titin said at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Thursday (11/6). When asked to confirm who else within BPK was suspected of receiving money, Titin continued, ‘My superiors are tiered.’

In addition to Titin and Angga, the KPK has also named Muara Enim Regent Edison and the Secretary of the Education and Culture Department for 2026, Abi Nurwardani, as suspects. Edison and Abi are currently serving a detention period related to an alleged bribery case involving the procurement of goods and services (PBJ) and the receipt of gratuities for the 2025-2026 fiscal year within the Muara Enim Regency Government.

The KPK will hold a press conference on Thursday evening to deliver a detailed chronology of the sting operation along with the complete construction of the case.
