Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) has begun auditing the Financial Statements (LK) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) and the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) for the year 2025.
“This activity is an initial step to ensure that state financial management is carried out transparently, accountably, and in accordance with statutory regulations,” said BPK Member III Akhsanul Khaq in an official statement in Jakarta on Saturday.
At the entry meeting in Kemenpora, Akhsanul explained to Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir and his team that the audit aims to provide an opinion on the fairness of Kemenpora's 2025 LK, considering compliance with Government Accounting Standards (SAP), adequacy of disclosure, adherence to statutory regulations, and the effectiveness of the Internal Control System (SPI).
