BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Retains Gold Award at ARA 2026 for Second Consecutive Year
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has once again won the Gold Award at the Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA) 2026 in the General Award category. The award was given for the quality of its 2024 Annual Integrated Report, which was deemed to meet international reporting standards in aspects of transparency, accountability, governance, and sustainability. The award announcement was made during the ARA 2026 series in Sydney, Australia, on 18 June 2026. The award was officially received in Jakarta by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s Director of Finance and Risk Management, Bambang Joko Sutarto. This achievement marks two consecutive years that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has successfully retained the Gold Award, the highest honour in the General Award category. Bambang Joko Sutarto stated that the award serves as international recognition of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s consistency in implementing transparency, accountability, and good governance. He noted that the integrated report compiled by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan refers to various national and international standards, including POJK Number 51/POJK.03/2017 on the Implementation of Sustainable Finance, the GRI Standards, and supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report, titled ‘Innovating With Integrity Fostering Loyalty’, contains information on financial and operational performance, governance, risk management, service innovation, and the institution’s contribution to sustainable development. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan was also the only state institution from Indonesia to participate and win an award at ARA 2026. This achievement demonstrates that the institution’s reporting quality is able to compete with various organisations from Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region. The Australasian Reporting Awards is one of the prestigious annual reporting awards in the Asia-Pacific region, having been held for over 70 years. Judging is conducted independently, considering aspects of information disclosure, governance quality, organisational strategy integration, risk management, sustainability performance, and value creation for stakeholders. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan stated it will continue to improve the quality of its reporting and public information disclosure by strengthening governance, transparency, and accountability. This step is also aligned with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s 3C strategy, particularly the Credibility aspect, in building public trust in the protection of Indonesian workers.
