BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and Senayan Village Commit to Expanding Social Security Coverage via OSS System
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Kebayoran Baru and the Senayan Village administration have committed to boosting employment social security (Jamsostek) coverage through the use of the Online Single Submission (OSS) application. The joint commitment was announced during a coordination meeting and halal bihalal gathering held on Tuesday, 15 April 2025.
Head of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Kebayoran Baru branch office, Rafik Ahmad, together with Senayan Village Head Siti Fauziah Ghozali, emphasised the importance of integrating the OSS system with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan programmes as part of the government's efforts to extend social security coverage to all Indonesian workers.
During the meeting, Rafik Ahmad stated that employment social protection is a fundamental right of every worker. "Through the OSS system, we hope that all business operators can more easily register their companies and ensure all workers are protected under the work accident insurance, death insurance, and old-age savings programmes," he said.
Meanwhile, Siti Fauziah Ghozali expressed her appreciation for the collaboration and hoped similar partnerships could continue across various areas. "We at the village administration are ready to support the implementation of the employment social security programme for the welfare of the community, particularly workers in the Senayan area," she said.
She also provided assistance to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kebayoran Baru in socialisation activities for the Jamsostek programme aimed at companies registered through the OSS application in the Senayan Village area.
This represents a tangible commitment between BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and the local government to improve worker welfare through an integrated and accessible system. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that all business operators in the Senayan Village area will promptly register their workers in the Jamsostek programme, fostering a safer and more prosperous working environment.
