BPJS Kesehatan officially held the kick-off of BPJS Kesehatan TANGGAP (Tangkap Aspirasi Gapai Solusi) as a strategic forum to gather constructive input from all stakeholders of the National Health Insurance Programme (JKN) on Wednesday 4 March 2026. The move aims to strengthen the JKN system to be of higher quality, more responsive, and to provide maximum benefits for participants.

Chief Executive Officer Prihati Pujowaskito emphasised that listening to aspirations is a crucial part of transforming the quality of JKN services, which focus on easy access, speedy service, and equity for all participants. He said strategic policies must be formulated based on real needs on the ground.

“Capturing aspirations is not merely about receiving input, but understanding needs and the direction of change. Through BPJS Kesehatan TANGGAP, each aspiration will be followed up to become policies that are more relevant and have tangible impact on improving the quality of JKN services,” Pujo said.

He added that BPJS Kesehatan continues to open space for collaboration with employers, the legislature, the government, health facilities, professional associations, experts, academics, and even internal organisations to strengthen the JKN ecosystem. Cross-sector involvement is deemed crucial in building a health insurance system oriented toward participant needs and sustainable in the long term.

“The sustainability of the JKN Programme can only be built through trust born of openness, consistency, and a commitment to continue listening and improving in order to deliver services that are increasingly of higher quality,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the BPJS Kesehatan Supervisory Board, Stevanus Adrianto Passat, assessed that an effective supervisory function must be grounded in a deep understanding of field dynamics. He said this forum is important to enrich analyses and sharpen the formulation of strategic policy directions.

“Together with all directors and the supervisory board, we ensure that the drafting of this strategic plan is based on real needs, actual challenges, and opportunities that can be optimised,” stressed Stevanus.

Appreciation also came from the Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana, who valued BPJS Kesehatan’s initiative to open space for aspirations as a progressive step in strengthening the JKN Programme. He emphasised that the presence of JKN aligns with the MBG Programme’s mission to create a healthy and productive generation in Indonesia.

“We thank BPJS Kesehatan for focusing on health coverage for all Indonesians. This step is expected to help reduce illness rates and support efforts to create healthy, strong, intelligent, and cheerful Indonesian children,” concluded Dadan.

Through BPJS Kesehatan TANGGAP, it is hoped that concrete, implementable recommendations will emerge, with tangible impacts on improving the quality of JKN services and public health across Indonesia comprehensively.
