Bandung (ANTARA) - The Social Security Administering Body for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthen fraud prevention in financing health services through signing an integrity pact with 258 partner health facilities.

Chief Executive Officer Prihati Pujowaskito said the signing was carried out simultaneously with 258 health facilities, comprising 165 primary health facilities (FKTP), 43 advanced referral health facilities (FKRTL), 35 cath labs, 10 radiotherapy services, and five nuclear medicine services.

“Hopefully going forward we will not see instances of overpayment due to irregularities. This anti-fraud commitment is very important,” she said at the signing of the cooperation to expand access to advanced services at Padjadjaran University, Bandung, on Wednesday.

She explained that within the cooperation there are also several hospitals that had previously had their cooperation terminated, but have now resumed partnership after fulfilling obligations and implementing improvements.

“In this period we are renewing the cooperation at this opportunity,” she said.

She explained strengthening fraud prevention is also an important part of maintaining the sustainability of the JKN Programme.

In 2025, BPJS Kesehatan managed to achieve efficiency through strengthening fraud prevention amounting to Rp6.5 trillion or around 3.4 percent of total health service costs.

According to her, the efficiency is a form of responsibility to ensure the mutual aid funds of participants are used optimally.

“That figure is not merely savings but a form of our responsibility to ensure the mutual funds of participants are used optimally,” she said.

Deputy Health Minister Benyamin Paulus Octavianus said all parties share responsibility to maintain balance in delivering health services within the JKN ecosystem.

That responsibility ranges from ensuring access to services for the public, maintaining the quality of health services, sustaining financing, and guaranteeing patient safety.

“With the spirit of gotong royong and shared commitment, I am confident that we can deliver JKN Programme services that are increasingly high-quality, fair, and able to reach all Indonesians,” Benyamin said.
