BPJS Kesehatan Opens Avenues for Aspirations to Strengthen JKN Services
BPJS Kesehatan has launched the kick-off of BPJS Kesehatan TANGGAP (Tangkap Aspirasi Gapai Solusi) to gather constructive inputs from all stakeholders of the JKN Programme. This cross-sector forum is organised as a step to strengthen the JKN system to be increasingly high-quality and deliver optimum benefits for participants.
BPJS Kesehatan’s Chief Executive Prihati Pujowaskito said the effort to listen to inputs is part of strengthening the transformation of JKN service quality, focusing on ease, speed, and equity. According to him, strategic policy must be devised based on the aspirations and real needs of participants on the ground.
‘Capturing aspirations is not merely about accepting inputs, but understanding needs and the direction of change. Through BPJS Kesehatan Tanggap, every aspiration will be followed up into policies that are more relevant and have real impact on improving the quality of JKN services,’ Pujo said on Wednesday (04/03).
Pujo said BPJS Kesehatan continues to open space for collaboration with employers, the legislature, government, health facilities, professional associations, experts, academics, and internal organisations to strengthen the JKN ecosystem. The involvement of all elements is considered important to present an optimised health security system oriented to participants’ needs.
‘If the sustainability of the JKN Programme can only be built through trust born from openness, consistency, and a commitment to continue listening and improving to deliver increasingly quality and sustainable services,’ added Pujo.
Meanwhile, BPJS Kesehatan Supervisory Board Chairman Stevanus Adrianto Passat assessed that effective supervisory function must also be grounded in understanding field dynamics. According to him, this step is important to enrich analysis and sharpen policy direction.
‘Together with all directors and the supervisory board, we ensure that the strategic plan is drawn up based on real needs, current challenges and opportunities that can be optimised,’ Stevanus said firmly.
He believes good policy emerges from the process of listening to aspirations from all parties. For that, Stevanus emphasised that BPJS Kesehatan has opened spaces as wide as possible for all stakeholders to provide constructive and solution-oriented inputs.
‘May the synergy that has been built be stronger, and may this forum yield concrete, implementable recommendations with real impact for the community,’ Stevanus asserted.
Meanwhile, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (Badan Pangan Nasional), Dadan Hindayana, expressed appreciation for the efforts by BPJS Kesehatan to open space for aspirations to strengthen the JKN Programme. He believes the JKN Programme is highly needed by participants to provide protection in every activity.
He noted the JKN Programme also aligns with the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG). Thus, Dadan hopes that in the future there will be synergy built between BPJS Kesehatan and the National Nutrition Agency to jointly create a healthier Indonesia.
‘We also thank BPJS Kesehatan for focusing on health coverage for all Indonesians, especially for Badan Gizi Nasional, which is currently striving to create Indonesian children who grow healthy, strong, smart and cheerful. This step is hoped to help reduce morbidity,’ concluded Dadan. (RO/Z-2)
