The Social Security Administering Body for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) has launched the Rehab 3.0 innovation to make it easier for participants with premium arrears to pay more flexibly. “We are launching an application that makes it easier for inactive participants who are in arrears to make payments in stages. So, what used to be monthly can now be weekly, even daily. Once again, the essence is to provide convenience for participants and ease their burden in paying arrears,” said BPJS Kesehatan President Director Prihati Pujowaskito in Jakarta on Tuesday. “Then, after settling the arrears, they can pay their premiums to become active participants and receive health protection. In addition, there is also the Pasti Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) application, which can be used by participants and prospective participants, whether active or inactive. Participants can check their status, whether they are active, not yet active, or not yet registered,” he said. Pujo conveyed the importance of utilising corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes to support the sustainability of the JKN Programme. “All stakeholders with the capacity are expected to channel donations or CSR to the JKN Programme, which will be used to assist participants who are in arrears with their contributions and help prospective participants who are not yet active to get registered,” he explained. The launch event also served as a turning point for a campaign to the public and donors to participate in strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation to support the sustainability of the JKN Programme.
