BPJS Kesehatan honours health facility commitment through Seva Paramahita Award
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Kesehatan held the Seva Paramahita Award 2026 ceremony to recognise health facilities committed to delivering quality services.
Chair of the BPJS Kesehatan Board of Supervisors, Stevanus Adrianto Passat, said at the event in Jakarta on Tuesday that the award is a form of appreciation for medical personnel who have served the public outstandingly.
“The Seva Paramahita Award reflects the spirit of devotion through excellent service,” said Stevanus.
He explained that service quality always rests upon strong governance and integrity across every element of a health facility.
“This award is not only recognition of achievement, but also an affirmation of the moral and professional responsibility to continue providing better services for our JKN participants,” said Stevanus.
According to him, the theme serves as a reminder that the health insurance programme cannot be run by BPJS Kesehatan through the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme alone without strategic partnership support from health facilities.
“JKN is a joint effort and requires collaboration across the entire ecosystem, particularly health facilities as strategic partners in serving participants,” said Pujo.
Pujo expressed hope that the award-winning health facilities can serve as examples and as a means of disseminating best practices in service quality to others.
Meanwhile, Director General of Primary and Community Health at the Ministry of Health, Maria Endang Sumiwi, also expressed appreciation for the healthy cooperation that has been built.
Endang believes the award will motivate all medical personnel to continue treating patients safely, with quality, and with dignity.
“There is no sustainable JKN programme without a healthy working relationship between the Ministry of Health, BPJS Kesehatan, local governments, health facilities, health workers, and the community. That is why I see today’s meeting theme — mutual cooperation for quality, inclusive, and sustainable health insurance — as highly relevant to the challenges of our current health development,” said Maria Endang Sumiwi.
