BPJS Kesehatan Holds Fun Run to Mark 58th Anniversary, Attended by Raffi Ahmad
BPJS Kesehatan held a fun run event at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex in Central Jakarta. The event was organised to commemorate the 58th anniversary of BPJS Kesehatan. “On the morning of 28 June, we are holding a Fun Run in the context of BPJS Kesehatan’s 58th anniversary,” said BPJS Kesehatan President Director Prihati Pujowaskito after participating in the Fun Run at GBK on Sunday (28/6/2026). Pujo explained that this programme was held as a promotion to prevent diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. The younger generation was urged to prevent these diseases. “The main purpose of this activity is promotive and preventive. To prevent hypertension and diabetes at a young age, supporting the Ministry of Health’s promotive and preventive programme because healthcare costs will be low if we prevent disease,” he said. The event was also attended by the President’s Special Envoy for Youth and Arts Workers, who is also a BPJS Kesehatan Honorary Ambassador, Raffi Ahmad. Raffi urged the younger generation to maintain a healthy lifestyle. “Don’t start living healthily tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Start right now. Especially for young people, because health is expensive, health is important. So from an early age, for the younger generation, healthy food is important, a healthy lifestyle is important, adequate sleep is important. So the most important thing is that BPJS Kesehatan teaches us that being healthy starts now, not tomorrow or later,” said Raffi Ahmad. The event was attended by more than 1,000 participants. The participants ran approximately 5 kilometres. “There are about 1,000 wearing these (BIBs). Those not wearing them are maybe 500 to 1,000 as well. I ran 5 kilometres. Yes, on average 5 kilometres,” said Prihati.
