BPJS Kesehatan continues to strengthen collaboration with healthcare facilities in the implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) Programme to ensure optimal health services and increase participant satisfaction. One such effort was carried out through a visit by BPJS Kesehatan’s Director of Membership, Akmal Budi Yulianto, to Matraman Health Centre in East Jakarta. Akmal stated that the visit aimed to ensure services for JKN participants are running well, from administrative processes to healthcare delivery. He appreciated the services at Matraman Health Centre, which were deemed to have been running effectively, and expressed hope that the health centre could become a gatekeeper as well as an example for healthcare facilities in DKI Jakarta by continuously improving service quality. “For the people of DKI Jakarta who are already highly digitally literate, we will enhance the ease of use of BPJS Kesehatan’s non-face-to-face service channels, such as the Mobile JKN Application, PANDAWA 0811 8165 165, Care Center 165, and VIOLA (Virtual Office for Information and Administration Services),” Akmal said in a statement on Friday (17/7/2026). “Likewise, with digital services belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, such as JakSehat and JAKI, which we continue to strive to integrate. The sole aim is to make it easier for JKN participants to obtain optimal services,” he added. Head of Matraman Health Centre, Rita Anggraini, said the visit by BPJS Kesehatan’s Director of Membership was the first since the new Matraman Health Centre building was inaugurated by DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung on 5 June 2026. Rita continued that the health centre’s flagship services include special services for handling tuberculosis (TBC) and leprosy, a psychological service centre including protection for women and children, as well as integrated services for the elderly, pregnant women, child growth monitoring, and a Referral Back Programme. “JKN participants coming to Matraman Health Centre simply need to show their KTP or Digital KIS on the Mobile JKN application without needing to bring any photocopies. For queues, most patients also use online queuing so they can know their arrival schedule without having to take a manual queue number at the health centre. This makes the waiting room and service rooms at the health centre more spacious and comfortable, and supports more effective healthcare services,” concluded Rita.
