BPJS Kesehatan Director: JKN Programme Requires Support from All Parties
BPJS Kesehatan’s Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, Vetty Yulianty Permanasari, has stressed that the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme is a strategic national initiative that requires the support of all parties. “The success of the JKN programme is the result of active collaboration among all stakeholders involved in the JKN ecosystem,” Vetty said at the inauguration of the BPJS Kesehatan Cultural Garden at Taman God Bless, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, on Friday. She stated that the JKN programme is a strategic national programme whose success is a shared responsibility. Therefore, BPJS Kesehatan consistently strengthens collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver services that are easier, faster, and more equitable for all participants. Vetty explained that since 2023, BPJS Kesehatan has implemented a service quality transformation to improve the delivery of the JKN programme. One of the key foundations of this transformation is the adoption of the INISIATIF values (Integrity, Collaboration, Excellent Service, and Innovation). “The INISIATIF values are not only applied internally within BPJS Kesehatan but also need to be supported and practised by the entire JKN ecosystem. Through this BPJS Kesehatan Cultural Garden, we aim to build public awareness of these values to support improved service quality and strengthen the image of the JKN programme,” Vetty said. The externalisation of the INISIATIF values is carried out through various activities, one of which is the construction of the BPJS Kesehatan Cultural Garden as a means of public education. This effort is expected to create a shared understanding and common goals among all parties involved in the implementation of the JKN programme. “It should be noted that as of 1 June 2026, JKN membership has reached more than 285 million people, or over 98 per cent of Indonesia’s entire population. In addition, BPJS Kesehatan has established cooperation with 23,682 First-Level Health Facilities (FKTP) and 3,221 hospitals and main clinics throughout Indonesia,” Vetty added. Vetty also expressed appreciation to the Minahasa Regency Government for its support in providing the location at Taman God Bless. She expressed hope that the garden would become a beneficial public space as well as a symbol of collaboration in supporting the success of the JKN programme. “Through the inauguration of this BPJS Kesehatan Cultural Garden, we hope that the spirit of integrity, collaboration, excellent service, and innovation will become more widely known and practised by all BPJS Kesehatan partners,” she added. According to her, the support of all stakeholders in the JKN ecosystem is key to realising a JKN programme of increasing quality that provides broader benefits for the Indonesian people. On the same occasion, Minahasa Regent Robby Dondokambey said the BPJS Kesehatan Cultural Garden is a form of commitment to improving the community’s quality of life while strengthening synergy with the Minahasa Regency Government. The presence of the garden not only beautifies the public space but also serves as an educational medium that brings positive values to the community. “The values of integrity, collaboration, excellent service, and innovation that are promoted not only serve as a foundation for delivering JKN services but can also become a shared spirit in building a healthy, productive, and competitive Minahasa community,” Robby stated.
