Semarang — The Social Security Agency for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) has established eight health service posts across various regions to serve travellers during the Eid 2026 exodus and return journey.

“The mudik posts are situated at eight locations that serve as major congestion points for travellers,” said Vetty Yulianty, Director of Human Resources and General Affairs at BPJS Kesehatan, in Ungaran, Semarang Regency, on Friday.

She made the statement whilst inaugurating the BPJS Kesehatan Eid 1447 Hijriyah Mudik Post at the Ungaran Toll Rest Area KM 429 in Semarang.

The seven other mudik post locations include Merak Port in Banten, Pulo Gebang Terminal in East Jakarta, Cipularang Toll Rest Area KM 88A in Purwakarta, and Cipali Toll Rest Area KM 166A in Majalengka.

Additional posts are located at Masaran Toll Rest Area KM 519A in Sragen, Purabaya Terminal in Sidoarjo, and Soekarno-Hatta Port in Makassar.

“BPJS Kesehatan consistently strives to provide healthcare services anytime and anywhere, even when participants are away from their residential areas,” she said.

Travellers who stop at the posts can access the available services and information regarding the National Health Insurance Programme (JKN) during their journey.

“Travellers can access these services at BPJS Kesehatan mudik posts from 13 to 18 March 2026,” she stated.

BPJS Kesehatan regularly establishes mudik posts during each Eid period as part of its commitment to providing easy access to healthcare services for JKN participants, she explained.

The mudik posts aim to ensure that travellers can continue to receive healthcare services and information about the JKN programme during their journey.

“BPJS Kesehatan will also continue to provide membership administration services in person at branch offices,” she added.

Branch office services will be open on 18, 20, 23, and 24 March 2026 from 08:00 to 13:30 local time.

She further noted that travellers can also utilise various other services at the mudik posts, including relaxation facilities, basic medications, simple medical procedures, and referrals when necessary.

“Travellers who visit BPJS Kesehatan mudik posts can utilise these services free of charge without any fees,” she said.
