BPIP Completes Verification of 2026 National Paskibraka Candidates
The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has concluded the verification process for the 2026 National Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka) candidates, which took place over five days in Jakarta. A total of 228 participants from 38 provinces have completed all stages of the national selection and are now awaiting the final results.
Head of BPIP Yudian Wahyudi stated that the verification process was carried out objectively, professionally, transparently, and accountably. He noted that all participants who reached the national stage are the finest sons and daughters representing their respective regions.
Yudian stressed that all selection stages were conducted with the utmost integrity. He assured that there was no preferential treatment or practices that could undermine the principle of fairness in the assessment process.
"There is no bias, no special treatment for anyone, and no room for corruption, collusion, and nepotism in the entire assessment process," he said.
He also urged all participants to accept the selection results graciously. He remarked that whether they serve at the national or provincial level, they still carry the honour of their regions, families, and the Indonesian nation.
"Whether serving at the central or provincial level, you all carry the honour of your region, family, and the Indonesian nation. Do not harbour excessive disappointment, do not feel superior or inferior. Make this momentum a path to strengthen brotherhood and maintain the spirit of Indonesian unity," Yudian said.
Acting Deputy for Education and Training at BPIP, Adhianti, reported that the entire verification series, which ran from 15 to 19 June 2026, proceeded smoothly. During the activity, participants underwent various assessment stages, including medical examinations, military drill regulations, psychological tests, aptitude and talent assessments, and interviews.
Adhianti expressed gratitude that all participants were able to follow the entire verification process in good health until the closing of the event.
She added that the participants’ return to their home regions has been prepared in stages, with administrative and transport support arranged by the committee.
"The return process for participants will be carried out in stages starting tonight. All administrative and transport needs have been prepared so that all participants are expected to return to their respective provinces safely and smoothly," she stated.
BPIP announced that the final results of the 2026 National Paskibraka candidate verification will be announced through a press conference. The announcement schedule will be communicated via BPIP’s official channels.
This national verification is the final stage before the appointment of Paskibraka members who will serve at the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on 17 August 2026.
