The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has announced the 76 candidates for the 2026 national flag-hoisting team (Paskibraka) who will represent the 38 provinces. The prospective Paskibraka members passed a verification process from a pool of 119,441 applicants.

BPIP Head Yudian Wahyudi guaranteed that the selection process was conducted with transparency and integrity, and was free from practices of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN). He expressed appreciation for the entire selection committee and related parties involved in the selection process for the prospective Paskibraka members.

“The entire process was carried out through the Paskibraka transparency application developed by BPIP to ensure all stages proceed measurably and can be monitored openly. The selection stages were conducted transparently, objectively, and professionally while upholding justice and accountability,” Yudian stated during a press conference streamed on BPIP’s YouTube channel on Monday (22/6/2026).

He explained that the formation process for the 2026 Paskibraka candidates was carried out in stages from the district/city level to the provincial level. They subsequently passed a central-level verification process from a total of 119,441 Paskibraka registrants.

Yudian confirmed that the assessment process at the central level was based on ability and competence. He assured that there was no special treatment or partiality towards specific participants or regions.

“Once again, I emphasise that BPIP ensures the entire formation process for the 2026 Paskibraka was carried out objectively, independently, and free from KKN,” he said.

The prospective Paskibraka participants underwent central-level verification stages, including health verification, parade and marching regulations verification, personality verification for psychological aspects, interest and talent verification involving elements from the central Indonesian Paskibraka Pancasila Ambassadors (DPPI), and interview verification. The verification process involved medical personnel, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), psychologists from the Indonesian Psychology Association, and others.
