Pidie: 3 GAM rebels shot dead in Seunade and Cot Glumpang Tiga villages; TNI also seized a communication radio and an FN pistol from rebels.

Nasi Island: GAM commander Tengku Hasan Muda overseeing Aceh Island captured; receiving treatment for injuries at Iskandar Muda Military hospital, Banda Aceh.

Banda Aceh: Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) workers sent the body of a man found in Alur Naga river, 2 km from downtown area, to Zainoel Abidin hospital.

Aceh Besar: PMI workers recovered 4 bodies from Sibreh, Lubok and Lampuja areas; bodies sent to Zainoel Abidin hospital.

North Aceh: A grenade exploded near a military helipad in Lhokseumawe at 8 p.m.; no damages reported except for a 10 cm hole; GAM rebels suspected.
