BPI Receives LKPM Award, Reinforcing Commitment to Sustainable Investment in Batang
PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) has received the Laporan Kegiatan Penanaman Modal (LKPM) Award as the Best Foreign Investment Company from the Batang Regency Government. The award was presented during the launch of Batang InVesta, a digital platform developed to facilitate access to investment information and licensing services in the regency, on 29 July 2026. The accolade was received directly by BPI’s Chief Operating Officer, Naofumi Yasuda, as recognition of the company’s commitment to submitting Investment Activity Reports in an orderly, timely manner and in accordance with applicable regulations. Batang Regent M. Faiz Kurniawan stated that investment is a primary driver of regional economic growth. Throughout 2025, Batang Regency recorded economic growth of 7.79 percent, supported by increased investment realisation, which has positively impacted job creation and local economic activity. The launch of Batang InVesta is part of the local government’s efforts to create a more conducive investment climate through fast, transparent services that provide legal certainty for investors. BPI’s General Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Spokesperson, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, expressed appreciation for the recognition, stating that the award acknowledges the company’s commitment to conducting investment that is not only operationally successful but also upholds full compliance with all regulations. He added that the award serves as motivation for the company to continue contributing to regional development while supporting reliable energy supply for Indonesia. As the operator of the 2x1,000 megawatt Central Java Power Plant in Batang Regency, PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia continues to play a role in supporting national energy security through the provision of reliable electricity. Beyond its energy supply function, the company remains committed to responsible investment by prioritising good corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strengthening collaboration with the government, community, and all stakeholders.
