BPH Migas says national BBM stock is safe: Pertalite 16 days, Pertamax 27 days

Jakarta, VIVA – The Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPH Migas) said that the resilience of the national fuel stock (BBM) was at a safe level. This was conveyed by the head of BPH Migas, Wahyudi Anas, during a hearing with Commission XII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

“As reported, the national BBM stock as of 18 May yesterday is very safe,” Wahyudi said during the meeting.

As of 18 May 2026, Wahyudi noted, the stock of Pertalite (RON 90) reached 1.37 million kilolitres (KL), with supply resilience of about 16 days. Next, Pertamax (RON 92) had a stock of 561 thousand KL with resilience up to 27.8 days, and Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) with the highest stock resilience, up to 61.7 days.

Meanwhile, for Solar (CN 48) stock resilience stood at 1.57 million KL with 16.4 days, and Pertamina Dex (CN 53) recorded coverage days of 35 days.

“Pertalite is at 16 days, followed by Pertamax at 27.8 days, then Pertamax Turbo at 61.7 days, while Solar remains at 16.4 days,” he said.

Wahyudi added that avtur is recorded at 385 thousand KL with resilience of 26.6 days. Meanwhile, stocks of kerosene or lamp oil stand at 16 thousand KL with resilience of 11.8 days.

“This is very safe, and continues to be maintained at these levels,” Wahyudi concluded.
