BPH Migas assures safe fuel stock and distribution in Jambi during Eid period
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPH Migas) has assured the availability and distribution of petroleum fuel (BBM) in the Jambi region is secure during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H period. This assurance follows direct monitoring by BPH Migas at several strategic points, such as the Sultan Thaha Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) and various Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in Jambi City. BPH Migas Committee Member Hasbi Anshory, in a statement from Jakarta on Sunday, said the monitoring results indicate that fuel stocks and quality in the area comply with government standards. This certainty provides peace of mind for the public undertaking journeys to reunite with family in their hometowns. “Fuel and avtur stocks in Jambi are in a safe condition, and it has been found that the fuel quality is already in accordance,” he stated. Hasbi continued that the oversight is conducted to ensure the public’s energy needs remain fulfilled throughout the mudik and return flow periods for Eid 2026. During monitoring at one SPBU, Hasbi directly inquired about fuel availability from mudik travellers with private vehicles and bus drivers. “They said they did not experience any difficulties in obtaining fuel during this Eid mudik,” he said. As the Coordinator of the National Post for the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector (ESDM) during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H (RAFI), BPH Migas continues to strengthen coordination with stakeholders to maintain energy supply stability during Eid and beyond. “We are also coordinating with Pertamina Patra Niaga; fuel stocks up to Eid and even thereafter are assured to be safe. The public need not panic; please proceed with mudik. BPH Migas and Pertamina assure safe stocks,” he stated. Throughout the mudik period, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Jambi Area recorded an increase in BBM consumption, including gasoline, gasoil, and avtur. This rise in BBM consumption has been well anticipated.
