BPDP Expands Market Access for Plantation SMEs at IFBC Exhibition
The Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) participated in the Info Franchise & Business Concept (IFBC) exhibition at the Jogja Expo Center from 3-5 July 2026. The IFBC exhibition presented hundreds of business opportunities for the public, particularly in the Yogyakarta area, to encourage the growth and upgrading of SMEs. Visitors were able to explore various processed products based on palm oil, coconut, and cocoa. Head of the Community Partnership and SME Division at BPDP, Helmi Muhansah, stated that participation in IFBC 2026 was a momentum to bring plantation SME actors together with partners, investors, and the community. ‘IFBC is a strategic platform to introduce various superior products based on plantation commodities to the public, business actors, and potential investors. We hope BPDP’s participation can open up more collaboration opportunities and encourage plantation SMEs to continue developing, innovating, and moving up the value chain,’ he said in a press release in Jakarta on Monday (5/6/2026). Helmi explained that BPDP remains committed to supporting the development of plantation SMEs through various programmes oriented towards increasing business capacity. This includes expanding market access and strengthening the downstream processing of plantation commodities. ‘Indonesian plantation commodities have great potential to be developed into value-added products. Through collaboration with various parties, including at the IFBC 2026 event, BPDP wants to encourage the birth of more entrepreneurs who are able to process plantation potential into innovative, competitive products with competitiveness in both national and global markets,’ said Helmi.
