All the flooding is located in South Jakarta, specifically in Petogogan subdistrict. The data was recorded at 6:00 PM WIB, with water levels reported to reach around 20 cm.

“BPBD records that there are currently 12 neighbourhoods flooded in Petogogan subdistrict, South Jakarta,” said Muhammad Yohan, Head of the Data and Communication Unit of BPBD DKI Jakarta, in an official BPBD DKI Jakarta statement on Saturday (2/5/2026).

The flooding was triggered by high rainfall in the area and the overflow of Kali Krukut. Nevertheless, several flooding points on roads have been reported to be receding gradually.

One of them occurred on Jalan Ciledug Raya, specifically around ITC Cipulir, Cipulir subdistrict, South Jakarta, which is now no longer flooded.

BPBD DKI Jakarta, along with several related agencies, continues to carry out handling efforts in the field. Personnel are deployed to monitor flooding conditions and carry out water pumping.

In addition, coordination is also being conducted with the Water Resources Agency, Road Infrastructure Agency, and the Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat) to ensure the drainage system functions optimally.

“The flooding is targeted to recede quickly,” he stated.

BPBD also urges the public to remain alert to the potential for flooding, especially as high-intensity rain is still likely to occur. In emergency conditions, residents are asked to immediately contact the Jakarta Siaga service at number 112, which operates 24 hours.
