BPBD Records 46 RTs in Jakarta Flooded During Eid

The Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) recorded 46 RTs in Jakarta that were flooded due to heavy rain on the first day of Eid 2026, Saturday (21/3). The BPBD DKI Jakarta Executive Head, Isnawa Adji, stated that the figure is based on data collected up to 10:00 WIB. “BPBD records that flooding is currently occurring in 46 RTs,” Isnawa said in his statement on Thursday. Isnawa revealed that BPBD DKI Jakarta is still deploying personnel to monitor flooding conditions in every area. Currently, they are also continuing to coordinate with the Water Resources Agency, Road and Bridge Agency, Fire and Rescue Agency, as well as sub-district heads and village heads to carry out water pumping and ensure that water channels function properly.
