BPBD: Beware of Potential Sudden Weather Changes in Tangerang, 2-4 June

The Tangerang Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Banten has stated that while weather over the next week will be dominated by sunny skies, the public should remain vigilant regarding potential sudden changes.

The Head of BPBD Tangerang, Mahdiar, noted on Tuesday that Tuesday (2/6) and Wednesday (3/6) are predicted to be sunny with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. However, moderate rain is forecast for Thursday (4/6).

“The public needs to be wary of these weather changes to maintain their health,” said Mahdiar. In addition to preparing for rain, he added that residents must also look after their health while engaging in activities amidst high temperatures.

“With relatively conducive weather conditions, it is hoped that community activities in Tangerang City can proceed safely, comfortably, and smoothly throughout this week,” Mahdiar added.

The Head of the Tangerang City Health Office, Dini Anggraeni, encouraged the public to consume fruits and vegetables to maintain physical health. “Regulate your diet and outdoor activities to stay healthy. Seek medical attention at a community health centre (puskesmas) immediately if you experience any symptoms,” Anggraeni stated.
