Pacific Century CyberWorks (PCW) denied talk that it plans to tap
European debt markets for capital, following several media
reports about a planned bond issue. In a statement issued late
Friday, the Hong Kong telecommunications giant said, "PCCW has no
immediate plans to access the Euro denominated debt market." --
