BPA Fair 2026 Auction Transactions Targeted to Reach Rp100 Billion
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The State Assets Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Republic of Indonesia Attorney General’s Office is targeting auction transactions at the BPA Fair event on 18-22 May 2026 to reach Rp100 billion. Overall, BPA aims to recover state assets through non-tax state revenues (PNBP) exceeding Rp2 trillion in 2026. “We hope the asset recovery can exceed Rp2 trillion to be returned to the state through PNBP,” said Baringin, Head of the Asset Recovery Cooperation and Technical Support Division at the BPA Secretariat, quoted from a statement received in Jakarta on Monday. He also stated that the BPA Fair is part of the Attorney General’s Office strategy to enhance transparency in managing state confiscated goods. “Evidence items that have been inkracht and are to be auctioned certainly have economic value. Therefore, we want to ensure the process is transparent,” he said. The BPA Fair is a collaboration between the BPA of the Attorney General’s Office and the Ministry of Finance through the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) which includes Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). The types of goods to be auctioned at the BPA Fair are quite diverse, ranging from motor vehicles, various types of bags, jewellery, to high-value precious metals. All auction goods undergo a curation process to ensure they are relevant and attractive to visitors, and the assets are well-maintained. The public wishing to participate in the auction can access the catalogue via the official website bpafair.com and follow the registration process according to the scheduled aanwijzing. In the auction process, BPA collaborates with the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance through the lelang.go.id service to facilitate administration and account opening for auction participants. The committee also provides a contact centre service at 0811-8119-1111 to assist the public experiencing difficulties during the registration or auction implementation process.
