BP3MI Investigates Viral Case of Two Indonesian Migrant Workers Claiming Forced to Serve 450 Men in a Month in Saudi Arabia
Two female Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) have gone viral after claiming they were forced to serve 450 lustful men in Saudi Arabia. The Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Service Agency (BP3MI) states that it is investigating the matter.
The Head of BP3MI NTB, Ponco Indriyo, admitted that he has not yet received any complaints from the families of the two Indonesian workers in Saudi Arabia.
“As of today, we have not received any complaints from the families. Usually, if something is hidden, there would be information from the family. But there isn’t any yet,” Ponco said when contacted by detikBali on Wednesday (6/5/2026).
Ponco continued that his agency is investigating the identities of the two PMI, who are said to be from the Land of Gora. BP3MI began tracing them after a video of the pair went viral on Instagram.
“Yes, up to now, we are tracing the individuals concerned. We have also tried to mention the person who took the video, but there has been no response,” Ponco said.
He explained that several accounts that have shared the video have not been able to provide definite information about their identities.
“So we cannot say for sure whether it is true or not. Whether the two are from NTB or not,” Ponco emphasised.
Coordination with KBRI-Foreign Ministry
Ponco stated that BP3MI NTB is coordinating closely with the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Riyadh as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) to verify the two PMI.
“The KBRI and the Foreign Ministry are also still tracing them. We are continuing to communicate with the KBRI and the Foreign Ministry in Jakarta. If there is any information, we will follow up regarding their addresses and notify them,” he said.
Although the identities have not yet been confirmed, Ponco expressed empathy for the condition experienced by the two women.
“We are very empathetic. Hopefully, they are alright,” he stressed.
No Salary if ‘Target’ Not Met
It is known that in the circulating video, the two PMI claimed to be victims of Human Trafficking Crimes (TPPO) in Saudi Arabia. The pair were sold for prostitution activities.
From the confession video circulating on social media, they claimed to have to serve up to 450 lustful men in a month.
The video was uploaded by the Instagram account @bisikanneti on Wednesday (29/4/2025) and went viral again.
“So in a month, we have to serve 450 men. If we don’t reach the target, we don’t get a salary,” the woman said in a fearful tone, as seen by detikBali from the viral video on Monday (4/5).
In her confession, the victim mentioned leaving for Saudi Arabia after being lured with job promises by a field worker with initials N, a woman. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, the pair met a woman with initials Z.
“So N lured us via WA for work in Saudi Arabia. But we met Z. There, we were held captive to serve men. But we managed to escape while shopping at one of the malls,” the woman said as in the video viewed by detikBali.
