BP Ultimate Diesel Price Drops, Here's the Cost to Fully Refuel an Innova Reborn

JAKARTA – BP Indonesia has officially lowered the price of BP Ultimate Diesel starting 8 May 2026. The diesel fuel is now sold for Rp 29,890 per litre, down Rp 1,000 from the previous price of Rp 30,890 per litre.

This price adjustment affects the operational costs of diesel vehicles, including for users of the Toyota Kijang Innova Reborn Diesel.

The MPV with a diesel engine has a fuel tank capacity of 55 litres. With the new BP Ultimate Diesel price, the cost to fill the tank completely reaches Rp 1,643,950.

Nevertheless, Innova Reborn owners still have alternative diesel fuels at lower prices, such as Pertamina Dex and Dexlite.

For Pertamina Dex, currently priced at Rp 27,900 per litre, the full tank cost for the Innova Reborn is Rp 1,534,500.

Meanwhile, using Dexlite at Rp 26,000 per litre brings the full tank refuelling cost to approximately Rp 1,430,000.

The use of high-quality diesel fuel is considered important for maintaining the performance of modern diesel engines, especially those adopting common rail technology.

Using lower-quality fuel risks causing carbon buildup and clogging the injectors. Therefore, some diesel vehicle users still opt for non-subsidised fuel to ensure engine durability, even as fuel prices continue to rise.
