The Public Housing Savings Agency (BP Tapera) has opened access to home ownership for Gojek driver partners through the Sejahtera Mortgage (KPR) scheme under the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) with a zero per cent down payment. This programme is intended for driver partners who meet the criteria for low-income communities (MBR).

Deputy Commissioner for Fund Utilisation at BP Tapera, Sid Herdi Kusuma, stated that the zero down payment scheme represents the government’s commitment to informal sector workers who have an income but do not yet own a home. “Through this cooperation, Gojek Driver Partners who qualify as low-income communities can access mortgages with a zero per cent down payment,” Sid Herdi said in Jakarta following the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between BP Tapera and PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk regarding the Housing Programme for Gojek Driver Partners on Friday.

He explained that through this programme, eligible Gojek driver partners have the opportunity to own their first home via the FLPP Sejahtera Mortgage scheme without a down payment. Sid Herdi noted that the cooperation, which runs until 2027, is expected to reach more Gojek driver partners across various regions so that the benefits of the government’s housing programme can be felt more widely.

He added that support for low-income communities is also strengthened through government policy in the financial services sector. The adjustment of the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) provisions by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) is considered to open greater opportunities for the public to access housing finance, including through the Three Million Houses Programme which is a government priority.
