BP Tapera accelerates housing finance distribution for low-income communities
As of 15 July 2026, the disbursement of FLPP-backed Sejahtera mortgages (KPR Sejahtera) had reached 101,978 housing units, with total financing valued at Rp12.67 trillion.
Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) continues to accelerate the disbursement of housing finance for low-income households (MBR) through the Sejahtera Home Ownership Credit Programme backed by the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP).
BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said that as of 15 July 2026, the disbursement of FLPP-backed Sejahtera mortgages had reached 101,978 housing units, with financing valued at Rp12.67 trillion.
“We are optimistic that the 2026 FLPP disbursement target can be achieved by strengthening collaboration with all partner banks and developers. Most importantly, more and more low-income households can soon own their first home under an affordable financing scheme,” Heru said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
Beyond this disbursement figure, a further 25,599 units remain at various stages of processing, ranging from construction, homes ready for contract signing, credit approval, to mortgage contracts awaiting disbursement.
According to Heru, the achievement demonstrates that collaboration between the government, BP Tapera, partner banks and developers continues to run well in expanding access to home ownership for people on low incomes.
Meanwhile, Minister of Housing and Residential Areas Maruarar Sirait said BP Tapera plays a strategic role in supporting the Three Million Homes Programme through the management and disbursement of FLPP funds.
“I hope BP Tapera becomes increasingly credible as the institution that manages and disburses FLPP funds,” said Maruarar, who is familiarly known as Ara.
With good governance, accountability, transparency and increasingly strong collaboration with all stakeholders, he added, BP Tapera is earning greater public trust and is able to accelerate the realisation of access to decent and affordable housing for low-income households across Indonesia.
