The Public Housing Savings Agency (BP Tapera) is continuing to accelerate the distribution of housing finance for Low-Income Communities (MBR) through the Sejahtera Home Ownership Credit (KPR) Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) programme. BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho stated that as of 15 July 2026, the realisation of KPR Sejahtera FLPP distribution had reached 101,978 housing units with a total financing value of Rp12.67 trillion. “We are optimistic that the 2026 FLPP distribution target can be achieved through strengthened collaboration with all distributing banks and developers. The most important thing is that more MBR can immediately own their first home with an affordable financing scheme,” Heru said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. In addition to this realisation, there are 25,599 units still in various stages of the process, ranging from construction, homes ready for contract, credit approval, to credit contracts that have not yet been disbursed. According to Heru, this achievement demonstrates that collaboration between the government, BP Tapera, distributing banks and developers continues to run well in expanding access to home ownership for low-income communities. Meanwhile, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait said BP Tapera has a strategic role in supporting the 3 Million Homes Programme through the management and distribution of FLPP funds. “I hope BP Tapera becomes increasingly credible as an institution that manages and distributes FLPP funds,” said Maruarar, who is known as Ara. With good governance, accountability, transparency and stronger collaboration with all stakeholders, he continued, BP Tapera will be increasingly trusted by the public and able to accelerate the realisation of access to decent and affordable housing for MBR across Indonesia.
